This unique event will take place on Friday 4th February @ 8 pm in Clane GAA.
Ronnie Delany was 21 years old when he won the olympic 1500m Gold Medal in Melbourne in 1956 in record time of 3.41.2. He remained the lat olympic Champion until Michael Carruth in 1992.
Tony Griffin is a remarkable Clare man who won All Star Hurling Award in 2006. He took a year out from his sport the following year to cyle 500 miles across Canada and raised 1 million euros for cancer in memory of his late father. His book " Screaming at the Sky" is about self discovery and growth.
These two exceptional and inspiring men will speak about " The challenges and demons which they faced in respective sporting careers"
