Volunteer Drug Awareness Training for Sport Clubs

This training is taking place on Saturday the 22nd of October. Training is provided free of charge to Volunteers from Sporting Organisations within Kildare, West Wicklow or South Dublin. Please see booking form and information attached.

Venue: Drug Prevention & Education Initiative
            Foróige Office,
            Unit 4, Block 5,
            Monread Leisure & Commercial Centre,
            Naas, Co. Kildare.

Time: 10am- 2pm

This training provides Volunteers with;
Specific information relating to alcohol & drug trends among young people nationally and locally,
Provide accurate information in relation to effects of alcohol & drugs,
Allow volunteers to consider their role within drug prevention,
Provide information regarding local support services and
Identify best practise in managing a drug related situation in relation to club policy
